Restoration More restorations
and the story behind them ......
~~~~~
This
photo is of Barbara and her cousins . All but one has since passed
on. She asked me to do "whatever I could" with it
and make a copy for her and another for her cousin...
~~~~~
Mackie asked me to remove the ageing and crop this picture of
her and her little sister and make copies for her and her
sister...
 ~~~~~
Mackie
also wanted this damaged photo of her and her family repaired. As
with many restorations if the resolution is
poor on the original I can only enhance the color and contrast
but I cannot create sharpness. I can only work with what the
original has to offer. I
can't create something that is not there...
~~~~~ Marjorie
wanted this photo of her father repaired. It was very
difficult as the original was less than 2x3 and there was so much
damage . When there is damage to contours of the face it can be
very difficult if not impossible to to repair...
Although this took a few hours there was no charge because she was not
satisfied with the results. I shouldn't have even accepted it because
of the difficulty. So
I wrote it off as practice...
~~~~~
The
same client wanted her daughters name added to her senior
photo and sized so it would fit where the name tag belongs in her
graduation invitations. I also added the high school logo...
The paper of her original photo was textured which made the copy
appear more "grainy" but she
was very pleased with the results.
~~~~~
An easy
one.. Brenda
only wanted this photo of her son and his girlfriend cropped. I also
enhanced the color..
~~~~~
Rosemary wanted this photo of her mother and father separated from the
group picture. I replaced the background to make it appear to be a
studio picture...
~~~~~ JUST
FOR FUN ...
Sherri
had a friend of hers help her create a profile on "My
Space". As a joke he listed her occupation as a "body
builder". So
I made this for her to use as her profile
photo just for fun...
